Titles include:The Incredible Cervix: An explanation of how the cervix responds to the ovarian hormones thus regulating fertility. This PowerPoint gives the observer an understanding of the work of Professor Erik Odeblad.The Rules: A Practical Application: The 4 Rules are explained along with the reasons for each Rule. Charts are shown to demonstrate the use of these Rules to achieve or avoid pregnancy. Hormonal correlation of the charted record shows the validation of these Rules.Third Early Day Rule: A Hormonal Rationale: The Third Early Day Rule is used in every cycle whenever there is a change from pre-ovulatory infertility or Basic Infertile Pattern (BIP).It can have one of two outcomes:
the interruption to the BIP can go ahead to a Peak. If so the Peak Rule then applies.
Alternatively, the BIP will return and the count of 3 days is required to allow time for the hormones to stabilise at a low level confirming pre-ovulatory infertility. Daily oestrogen and progesterone levels accompany the charts in this PowerPoint to explain the reason for this important Rule.
